\"\"Qualifications<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

I am formally trained, accredited and certified in both western and Vedic astrology, with over 15 years of active client practice in each modality, and a cumulative total of 30+ years experience as a consulting\/teaching astrologer.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have a Diploma from the British Faculty of Astrological Studies, and was for more than five years their sole North American tutor for hundreds of correspondence students throughout Canada, USA and Mexico.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have a Bachelor’s designation (Diploma Level 2, currently the highest) in Jyotisha<\/em> from the American College of Vedic Astrologers. As such, all students working toward certification can accumulate ACVA-credited hours for all courses, workshops, and tutorial sessions undertaken with me.<\/span><\/p>\n

For the past 20 years, I have studied closely with Hart de Fouw, who is generally acknowledged as being the most highly-esteemed jyotishi<\/em> in the West. As a consequence, my teaching adheres to all of his principles and practices, which are in turn a product of his own one-on-one tutelage over a 15-year period with his esteemed guru and mentor, Mantriji.<\/p>\n

Tutorials<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Tutorials are US$60\/hour for one-on-one sessions. These are designed to take the student (after a brief assessment) from wherever s\/he is currently to the desired level of proficiency, as determined by the student’s ambition, capacity, and willingness to do the necessary work.<\/span><\/p>\n

Individual tutoring allows the student to progress at an optimal rate, correcting any misconceptions before they become ingrained, introducing core concepts that will stand the test of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Tutorial sessions are actively geared to ensuring progress toward competency in reading charts. Reading and homework assignments are assigned on a regular basis for students to complete on their own time.<\/p>\n

Depending on student interest, tutorials may cover Jyotisha<\/em> (Vedic astrology, Hasta<\/em> (palmistry), or any aspect of traditional western astrology.<\/span><\/p>\n

YouTube<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

As of 2020, I’ve begun to use my YouTube channel<\/a><\/strong> in a more disciplined and regular fashion. There you can find many discussions, 20-30 minutes in duration, on any number of topics, from coverage of various celebrities or notable public figures, to in-depth discussion of technical subject matter.<\/span><\/p>\n
