Course: Introductory Palmistry
Course objective:
- Learn how to read character in a personâs hand, and identify their prospects for love relationships, health, mental attributes, special talents, career, and other major life themes.
Topics covered:
- A brief history of palmistry and its origins
- How to recognize the four basic hand shapes, and their meaning
- Assessing the fingers, including their lengths and orientation
- The meaning of the major & minor lines of the hand, including their lengths, orientation and various markings
- Fingerprint, palm and other skin patterns
- Rules of interpretation to assess personality, relationships, intelligence, health, career, etc
Cost, duration, & recommended textbook:
- $275 (covers tuition + HST)
- 12 hours (one or two weekends, or one night a week for six weeks)
- Hand Psychology by Andrew Fitz-Herbert, or other palmistry books as available
Course: Introductory Jyotish
Course objective:
- Learn how to interpret an individual birth chart so as to analyze general prospects in the personâs life for health, wealth, talents, education, love relationships, children, career, travel and friendships.
Topics covered:
- Differences between Vedic and western astrology
- Basic astronomy
- Karma and its role in the chart
- Symbolism and meaning of the planets
- Meanings of the twelve houses
- Astrological signs and their relation to the planets
- Astrological aspects that link relative planetary positions
- Planetary patterns that promise love, success, wealth, family, etc
- Rules of chart analysis to identify key themes of life

- Beneath a Vedic Sky by William Levacy, Ancient Hindu Astrology for the Modern Western Astrologer by James Braha, or other Vedic astrology books as available
Course: Intermediate Jyotish
Course objective:
- Learn how to analyze a chart to identify periods when the client will â¨enjoy love, health, professional success, wealth, children, travel, â¨spiritual fulfillment, etc.
Topics covered:
- Planetary patterns (yogas) that reveal the extent of positive or negative â¨karma
- Harmonic charts (amshas) that add greater detail to chart interpretation
- Planetary periods (dashas and bhuktis) that define periods when certain natal themes will manifest in a life
- The transits of planets, and how they trigger events within time-frames established by planetary periods
- Rules of interpretation, and miscellaneous techniques for different â¨applications
